How to give your chatbot emotion

Creating a chatbot with a emotional depth is crucial when creating a convincing conversational bot.

It’s worth spending some time developing a persona for your bot. Who are they? Where are they located? What’s their backstory, motivations, interests and how does all that relate to your intended audience?

Identifying their cultural touchstones can give you concrete and authentic markers to ground them in the world - what content do they consume, what online spaces do they inhabit and which brands and personalities do they follow?

With Charisma AI, your character’s emotions evolve through the experience so consider how they would communicate - naturally as well as during altered emotional states. Are there any phrases or slang they would use? Would they use memes or emoji’s?

The more thought you put into this the more authentic and convincing your character will be.
